Jamie Reimer - Program Director

Jamie grew up in Brampton with his parents and three younger brothers. Family and faith in Jesus were significant aspects of life for Jamie and provided so much direction and support through the failures and hopes of growing up. Jamie felt God’s call to ministry in high school and studied youth ministry at Tyndale College in Toronto, and served in various summer camp and youth ministries. Jamie met his wife, Naomi, here in St. Catharines and they were married in 2004. Together they love connecting with people and sharing the love and hope that Jesus is. Their two daughters, Hailey and Emery, love creating, exploring and making forts out of all the couch cushions. Jamie enjoys helping others to experience the loving way that Jesus has gifted and called them to follow Him. He is grateful that he can journey with others toward finding and sharing the hope that Jesus is to all of us.

Laura Huh - Worship Leader

Laura has had a love for music since childhood. She started piano lesson at age 5 and was a member of Niagara Children’s Chorus for 5 years. Early on she was involved in music and worship at Bethany and led music at Mishewah for a number of summers. After completing her Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance at Brock University, Laura was hired as Worship Director at Bethany CC. She oversees the music and arts (visual, drama) teams used in worship. Her passion is to see the arts thriving in the local church as they encourage and build people up while bringing glory and praise to God.

Martin Nieuwets - Youth Ministry

Martin was born in St. Catharines and from a young age saw how his parent’s faith influenced them to overcome some of life’s challenges. This would draw him to personal faith in Jesus. While on a work trip at age 15 to Northern Ontario he felt a desire to full-time church work. This would inspire him to attend Emmanuel Bible College. Martin and Alison have served as missionaries/pastors in Northern Ireland and served for a decade at a church in Toronto before coming to Bethany. Martin is committed to building up the church through caring for families. He strives to be a positive influence in the lives of students and helping them find a place to belong and become all God has created them to be. While in his spare time, you’ll find Martin with his family, watching volleyball games, or enjoying a night out with friends.

Jayne Duldner - Children's Ministry

Jayne first heard about Jesus at a backyard Bible Club when she was 10 years old, firmly making a commitment in her late teens to follow Him as her Lord and Saviour. Since that time, Jayne has been involved in ministry to children, becoming passionate about seeing kids come to Christ and living for Him. Jayne and her husband Hans and their 4 daughters, Rachael, Alicia, Emily and Katelyn, began attending Bethany in 1995. Jayne has a passion for seeing people developing and using their gifts and talents to make an eternal impact on children. With the knowledge that 85% of people who will accept Christ do so between the ages of 5-12, Jayne is committed to quality programs and opportunities for children and families to grow in their spiritual walk.
