As the days grow longer and summer draws near, our camp is buzzing with excitement—and it’s all thanks to the incredible volunteers who have come out to prepare our grounds and facilities for another unforgettable season.

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank the amazing teams who have dedicated their time, skills, and energy to help make camp ready for our campers.

The men’s group from Café Church, Kingston kicked off the season by prepping and starting the repainting of the north washrooms. Soon after, Cal & Wanda Knights stepped in to finish the job. Thanks to their hard work, those washrooms now look fantastic and ready to welcome campers.

Next, the Bethany St. Catharines / Bethel New Dundee Mission Team completed a major cabin renovation, moved trailers, built a sturdy railing on the lodge, and tackled several other important projects around camp. Their work has made a huge difference in improving our facilities.

Over at the waterfront, Teen Challenge Men’s Centre, Renfrew took on some serious heavy lifting—moving picnic tables, docks, boats, and other watercraft to get everything ready for summer fun.

Meanwhile, ever-faithful First EMC, Pembroke joined us for a full day of outdoor work, clearing brush, raking leaves, planting trees and bushes, and tidying up the campgrounds. Their efforts helped refresh and beautify our natural spaces.

Behind the scenes, Steve Fulton has been working tirelessly to get all our IT systems up and running smoothly, helping to streamline our technology so WiFi, phones, and office equipment operate efficiently throughout the summer.

And quietly making a big difference, John and Elaine Quanz have devoted countless hours to repairing and painting picnic tables, ensuring that campers have safe and beautiful spots to gather and enjoy meals, tuck treats and fellowship.

We couldn’t do any of this without our wonderful volunteers. Their dedication and hard work are what make our camp such a special place. We are so thankful for each and every one of you!

We can’t wait to welcome campers back and show off all the improvements made possible by your generosity and care!
