Update from Camp Mishewah

Hello Mishewah Campers!

By now, you have probably heard the provincial government’s announcement regarding the opening of campgrounds and private parks to prepare for the summer season and allow access for seasonal campers. It’s exciting news!  Just like you, we are missing Mish, and can’t wait to get there.

However, we ask for your patience as we make decisions and plans for what our timeline for opening up will look like. We have been in touch with Renfrew County & District Health Unit, and are continuing to have discussions among the staff and ECM board. Currently, the water is not on and the washrooms are not ready to be opened, two of the essential services required in order to open at Mishewah. There are a number of additional guidelines in place that prevent us from being able to open until further restrictions are lifted. Seasonal campers should already have an email containing further details in their inboxes.

Just like in past years when flooding has altered our schedule, we appreciate your support, patience, and flexibility. As soon as we are ready and able to open to campers, we will let you know!
